ESO Update 40 Coming to Consoles with New Roguelike Mode
Endless Archive: ESO's New Roguelike Dungeon
The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) is set to receive Update 40 on consoles, introducing a brand-new roguelike mode called the Endless Archive.
This randomized dungeon challenges players with increasingly difficult levels, offering various boons as rewards.
Upcoming Changes in Update 40
No Normal or Veteran Versions: The Endless Archive will not have separate normal or veteran versions, but the difficulty will progressively increase as players progress through the dungeon.
New Content in the Scions of Ithelia DLC: * Two new dungeons: Scions of Ithelia and Thrassian Stranglers * New overland content including the Ithelia region and the Reach sub-region * A new trial called Dread Cellar * New Companions including Isobel and Kinras * A new Antiquities system
