Marco Rossi names 26-man group for third consecutive Euros
Hungary coach Marco Rossi has named his 26-man squad for Euro 2024. The Hungarians are competing in their third successive Euros and will be looking to make an impact in the tournament.
Rossi has included a number of experienced players in his squad, including captain Adam Szalai, goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi and midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai. There are also a number of promising youngsters in the squad, such as RB Leipzig forward Dominik Szoboszlai and Eintracht Frankfurt defender Attila Szalai.
Hungary have been drawn in Group F for Euro 2024, along with defending champions France, Germany and Portugal. It is a tough group, but Rossi is confident that his team can qualify for the knockout stages.
“We have a good team and we are confident that we can do well in the tournament,” said Rossi. “We know that it will be difficult, but we are ready for the challenge.”
Hungary will begin their Euro 2024 campaign against France on June 15. They will then face Portugal on June 19 and Germany on June 23.
